Oklahoma Real Estate Commission licensing requirements for a Provisional Sales Associate:
In order to sit for the state exam and ultimately, be issued a real estate license you must
-

      be 18 years or older,
      be of good moral character,
      be a citizen of the United States or here legally,
      submit your fingerprints along with Part A of the application,
      provide proof you have completed a pre-licensing real estate course within 6 months from time of enrollment,
      provide proof of  your legal presence in the United States at the time you sit for the exam.

Below are some questions you will be asked on the REAL ESTATE APPLICATION, BACKGROUND CHECK
  1. Have you ever been convicted of any crime?
  2. Are you currently under investigation, indictment, awaiting trial, verdict or sentencing in any criminal proceeding?
  3. Are you presently on parole or probation (including a deferred sentence) or paying restitution or fines or engaged in
      any payment arrangement with any type governmental body?
  4. In the last ten (10) years have you received a deferred sentence which was later dismissed? (list all deferred
      sentences on seperate sheet)
  5. Have you ever had a license or registeration fined, reprimanded, rejected, suspended, involunteerily terminated,
      revoked or otherwise subjected to any type of disciplinary action whether or not you were ultimately sanctioned?
  6. Are you currently under investigation, involved in a hearing, trial, administrative proceeding or other action by the
      authority that issued the license or registration?
  7. Have you ever received an adverse decision or judgment against you in a criminal, civil or administrative action
      related to your business or professional activities?
  8. Have you ever had an application for a license, certification or registration denied or issued with restrictions or
      limitations?
  9. Have you ever been terminated from any employment for theft, fraud or dishonesty?
10. Do you owe any delinquent child support payments?
11. Have you filed bankruptcy that involved investment property?
12. Do you have any delinquent unpaid student loans?
13. Did you receive anything other than an honorable discharge from the armed forces of the United States of America?
 
Career Development Institute will provide all necessary paperwork of your license application, including explanations.

REAL ESTATE APPLICATION, BACKGROUND CHECK, EVIDENCE OF CITIZENSHIP OR LEGAL ALIEN STATUS
On the initial portion of your application, you will be required to send background information, a photo, notarized forms along with the application to the Oklahoma.Real Estate Commission.For fingerprinting and initiating verification of your background information, I will give you guidance on the procedure.

COMPLETION CERTIFICATE will be given after the successful completion of the pre-licensing course, signed by the Director and Instructor of the pre-licensing school. You will then send notification of certificate to OREC.
